03/30/12: the following change has been made to the AF32 user manual: In the 'Charging' section on page 5 added: "**Note: the AF32 cannot be turned on while charging. Please wait before it is charged to use or pair."

Important Information

The AF32 cannot be turned on while charging, and Bluetooth can’t be used.
Please charge the AF32 fully before the first use, which takes approximately 6 hours.
DO NOT use a charging cable other than the included charging cable.
If a non-AF32 charging cable is used, it may burn out the AF32 and will void the warranty.
Stereo audio and microphone functionality is not simultaneously supported on a PC or PS3.

Troubleshooting

Issue:	Sound coming only from one side
Resolution:	When the AF32 turns on and off, both sides should beep. If both sides beep, but you hear music or audio from only one side, check to see if the device/application has a balance setting. You can also delete the AF32 profile from your device (remove the device) and re-pair the AF32. If you hear a beep in only one side, please contact customerservice@meelec.com.
Issue:	Bluetooth setup on a PC is requesting drivers
Resolution:	The AF32 uses the A2DP standard for stereo audio Bluetooth transmission and headset functionality, and the computer’s Bluetooth device must have the proper drivers installed. There are no drivers for the AF32. Please contact your computer or Bluetooth dongle manufacturer for the most recent drivers, or you can try the drivers below. It is recommended that you create a system restore point before beginning this procedure. Generic Broadcom Bluetooth driver update (try first): download here It is recommended to uninstall your Bluetooth software/drivers before running the below programs. These are only needed if the above does not resolve the issue: Generic Broadcom Bluetooth driver install: download here Generic Bluetooth driver: download here Note: Dell uses Broadcom chips and HP drivers can be found here.
Issue:	Cracking noise, static, interference
Resolution:	Make sure you are within range of your Bluetooth-enabled device.
Issue:	No sound or low volume
Resolution:	Adjust the volume on your headset and device as both control the sound.
Issue:	Not charging
Resolution:	Make sure the charging cable is plugged into both a USB hub/USB power adapter that is powered and the 3.5mm 4 pin plug is inserted completely into the AF32. iPod charging cables will not charge the AF32. Charging cables from other media players can burn out the AF32 and voiding the warranty.
Issue:	Won't pair
Resolution:	Make sure the AF32 is in pairing mode as indicated by the red and blue lights flashing in an alternating manner.
Issue:	Won't connect
Resolution:	Make sure your AF32 is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Make sure you have paired your AF32 to your device. Make sure your device is not connected to any other Bluetooth headset, and make sure your AF32 is not connecting to any other device. If connecting still fails, power off your AF32 and turn it back on. If problems persist, delete the device "AirFi" and pair the AF32 again.
Issue:	Won't control calls/media players
Resolution:	The AF32 headset is compatible with Bluetooth Version 1.1,1.2. 2.0, and 2.1 and supports advanced A2DP operation. Some functions, such as "Rejecting a call," "Redialing" or "Voice dialing" are only available if supported by your mobile phone. Please check the phone manual for further information.
