Thank you for your purchase of MEE earphones, one of the best values available. MEE brings musical enjoyment to everyone! Note: The shirt clip is meant to be non-removable. It is recommended to carefully bend the plastic lip of the clip to expand the cable attachment opening before attempting to remove the shirt clip. Warning: Do not use headphones at high volumes for extended periods of time. Doing so will result in permanent hearing damage. It is advised you keep volume levels moderate to low at all times for your safety. Please visit www.osha.gov for more info. Do not use while driving a car, cycling, or operating machinery, or other activities that require hearing surrounding sounds. Caution: Always make sure ear tips are installed completely on the earphone nozzle to avoid coming off in your ear. Frequent cleaning of the outer portion of the nozzle and the tips will help keep them in place. Gently wiggle the ear tip before removal to ensure the ear tip stays on the earphone during removal. Cleaning the N9P: Gently remove the ear tips from your MEE earphone Take a cotton swab that is either dry, or has a small amount of rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol on it (rubbing alcohol will kill germs) Swab around the nozzle of the MEE earphone, but not the inside of the nozzle Swab the ear tip including the inside of the stalk Reinstall the tips back on the MEE earphone, making sure they are on securely If rubbing alcohol was used, make sure to wait for the rubbing alcohol to completely dry before insertion into your ear Earphone Removal: To remove your earphones please pull gently straight out of your ear, grasping the strain relief or housing. Never pull from the cable to remove your earphones. Ear Tips and Fit: Sound quality is dependent on ear tips used and fit. Fit includes insertion angle and insertion depth as ears are shaped and sized a little differently. There are many ways you can wear earphones and spending some time to find the best fit and position will result in the most musical enjoyment. Seal: Bass response and isolation are affected by the seal. Please experiment with different sized ear tips to create the best seal. It is possible that you may achieve the best results with different sized ear tips in each ear. An easy way to make sure you have a tight seal with the right sized ear tips is to insert the ear tip into your ear canal and then gently pull it back slightly. Insertion Angle: The ear canal is naturally angled up, and inserting the earphone at that angle usually results in the best sound. Wearing the earphones with the cable over your ear may result in more comfort and ease of achieving the best angle for you. Insertion Depth: Insertion depth will change the characteristics of the sound. Make sure you have the best sized ear tip for different insertion depths. Ear tip size is important in achieving a seal at different insertion depths. Larger ear tips typically work better for a shallow insertion while the next size down may work for a deeper insertion. For example, if you use the large tips with a shallow insertion, the earphones may sound better with the medium tips and a deeper insertion. You may want to try a deeper insertion with smaller ear tips. Cable Noise: If you are experiencing microphonics (cable noise during movement), try the following to reduce or minimize it: Wear the cable over your ears Attach the shirt clip on the cable to your clothing Wear the cables down your back Wear the cables inside your clothing
