  • Best earphones for under $50 Competes with headphones that cost $100+
Comparisons: The M9's are one of the best, if not the best headphones in the sub $30 category. They easily beat my modded JVC Marshmalllows, Skullcandies, and my V-moda Bass Freq's. When compared to stock earphones, haha, I guess you already know. The M9's even beat out headphones that are much more expensive. Compared to my Ultimate Ears super.fi 3's, the bass of the M9's are greatly superior, the highs are also better. The only thing the Ultimate Ears does better is the midrange. My Shure SE110's are inferior to the M9's even though they cost up to seven times more than the M9's, the bass on the Shures are muddy compared to the bass of the M9's. The clarity is also inferior to that of the M9's.
  • I'm Not an Audio Expert BUT Hear Me Out!
I've owned Sennheiser earbuds, Klipch buds, Skullcandys, Sonys, JVC Marshmallows, Creative EP buds, Bose, iWAVES, iWishIneverBoughtCheapEarbuds, Memorex and Philips buds, and at some point in my life--a very low, low point in my life--I resorted to a cheap pair of buds made by Sentry. What times I've had...

Amongst all the ones I've owned and own now, these MEElectronics M9-BK's are SUPERB (I say this with a very French accent, which means buy them now because I'm right all the time!). Seriously, silly jokes aside these are the best earbuds I've owned in a long time. They're the type that you'll want to take with you when your commuting as opposed to sacrificing more expensive earbuds to the elements of an urban/active life.
  • Folks Let's Stop Kidding Ourselves, Shall We?
I am now of the opinion that Sennheiser and (wait for it, cuz here it comes people....) even Bose ear buds have NOTHING on these. The folks who talk about these buds being high quality at lower price points are actually UNDERSTATING the case. I make no exaggerations here. I've been through them all, and it the buck stops with MEE. Someone mentioned boutique prices for the bigger names touting otherworldly quality. I say nuts.

  • Excellent for the Price
I'm not really an audiophile, but after using Skullcandy and switching to these, the difference is easily noticable. These are really for people who love their bass. The bass is nice and loud and a bit 'boomy'. The mids are decent, and the treble can be a little harsh at some times, but for $18, these are easily the best sub $30 pair of earphones on the market.

Best Value & Sound Quality at $20 price range October 10, 2011
Reviewer: Kai from USA
As all the other reviewers mention these are the best headphones/earphones you can buy for $20.  They are comparable to the Koss KSC75 headphones, but have a wider range and isolation.  Tips for a heavy bass sound and a balanced sound are included in the accessories, which also includes a carrying pouch, four sets of eartips, and wire organizer.  Comfort isn't the best, but that is a necessary sacrifice for decent sound isolation.  The cord is long and of high quality as are the earphones.  If you look around you can get them for $20 or less with shipping.  These are better than earphones that cost multiples more and just can't be beat for the price.

Durable and amazing October 10, 2011
Reviewer: Morgan from Bexley, OH United States
These headphones really are a steal.

The bass is powerful enough to enjoy without being too strong or being unbalanced. The sound is full and rich, and the fact that this comes with ear buds and a case just makes it that much better. I've also found the clip to be quite useful.

My favorite thing about these headphones is that they were designed to be used, not just to look pretty. With other brands the headphones would stop working after one month of regular use. The M9s have a power cord, a unique braided inside wire, and casing that reduces micronics as well as tangling. They are incredibly durable, which is a great thing if you don't want to waste your money.

In addition to this, I have personally experienced Meelectronic's customer service, and I can say that it is outstanding as well. The people helped me quickly, efficiently, and were very polite. With a one year warranty, you can't lose with this product.

I am officially a Meelectronics customer for life!

Excellent Earphones June 10, 2011
Reviewer: JR from Chino Hills, CA
Last February I have bought these earphones because my sister referred me to this, a Audiophile like earphone. These have to be one of the best earphones i've tried, until you lose them. Lost March found May 31. Where were they, in my pants, that has been washed numerous times and dried numerous times (High Heat). They still work!!!

over time... May 26, 2011
Reviewer: Ben Reed from Ohio, US
the sound quality of these headphones is great. definetly worth $20. After time though, the jack started wearing out and got to the point that the sound was getting messed up. I have had these for a pretty long time, and its probably just my set. Overall, this is the best deal for headphones.
