I bought these in November 2010 after seeing feedback on them on head-fi.org. I am not a musician, but I can discern between bad iems and good ones. These headphones have decent lows and have little microphoning when set around your ear. They also are good at blocking outside sound so you can enjoy the music.
The customer service is also very good. The left unit began to have issues, the sound was coming in and out, near the earpiece. I called Meelec up and even though I was a couple of weeks out of warranty, they replaced the unit, without any hassle. I had the replacement back to me in under a week.
